| Tomoe is a familiar to the last land god, Mikage. Currently he is the familiar of Nanami and sealed their contract with a kiss. He shows a wonderful talent for cooking and is shown to be highly dedicated to the shrine. Tomoe worries a great deal about Nanami and is very aware of how delicate she is as a human, threatening anyone who harms her or speaks ill of her. It is often implied that he loves Nanami, such as doing random acts of kindness for her and refusing to kill in front of her. Plus, it is also indicated that he sometimes gets very jealous of other guys who hang around her. He is also very loyal to Nanami, as shown by him kissing her to seal their contract again after it had been broken. In the most recent chapters it's revealed that he is in fact in love with Nanami, but Nanami is unaware of this. However, this triggered a 'switch' that causes Tomoe to return to his dying curse and remember his love for Yukiji, the girl he previously loved. It is shown that when she died, Tomoe, cursed and alone, lost his will to live and searched for a place to die until Mikage found him and sealed his memories. By doing that, the curse fell asleep and Tomoe was able to live a new life. after Tomoe's dying curse returned, Nanami embarked on a journey to save him and nullify his dying curse. She time-travelled back to the past, and it is revealed that she was the one Tomoe originally fell in love with in the past, not Yukiji. She was the one inside Yukiji's body when Tomoe first met Yukiji in an abandoned house 500 years ago. Nanami was also the one who cared for Tomoe when he was almost killed by the villagers and turned into a child, and Nanami was also the Yukiji who promised Tomoe that she'll marry him one day and gave her hairpin to him as a proof of her promise. | Anko Uehara is an athletic girl with well-off parents who has her own trio, in which she is accompanied by Naoko Asano and Mayuko Izumi. Anko is one of the first of the class to start trouble for Eikichi Onizuka, due to her and her friends' constant mistreatment of Noboru Yoshikawa. After the most recent assault on Noboru Yoshikawa leaving him severely beaten and humiliated yet again do they get taught a lesson by Onizuka, who literally spanks them at a karaoke bar and takes pictures of himself committing the act. Afterwards, Anko gets her mother, the president of the local Parent-Teacher Association, who believes her daughter is incapable of wrongdoing, to get Onizuka fired. This backfires, with the help of Noboru and Yoshito Kikuchi, who reveal her cruel, bullying nature in front of the student body and PTA. Anko tearfully confronts her mother about their relationship and perfectionist expectations of her, which leads to some family reconciliation and doesn't get any serious retribution from what she and her friends had done. She and her friends keep their distance from any other attempts by students to get Onizuka fired, despite giving their verbal support. While still cold to Onizuka, Anko allies with him, after being fed up with Miyabi Aizawa's manipulation of others for her own gain. When Onizuka is framed for embezzeling funds for the school trip, she offers her credit card for use, but he flat-out refuses. On the school field trip to Okinawa, her mean streak towards Noboru continues to persist, even escalating, as he and Onizuka start playing pranks of their own against her and her friends. In an ironic twist, Noboru saves her life, after her own prank fails. During a near-death experience, a flashback reveals her bullying stems from growing up with an abusive, older brother, who in turn, was abused by their father. Shortly after, she develops feelings for him, and unsuccessfully tries to deny them. It takes an Onizuka scheme to get her to admit it. | A nun and an inquisitor belonging to the Pope's central office. She is an extremely strict, yet devoted follower of God who is responsible for executing those who commit heretic acts. Although many call her a cruel person, she is actually a virtuous woman, but she is too serious and inflexible and does not hesitate in judging people. Shigi is very eager to bring down the Rebel Army, who she considers to be a band of heretics, and sees their leader Annelotte, who carries demon blood, as an abomination. She also considers the use of alchemy as a heresy (even the Pope's central office has divided opinions on this topic). She is armed with the Holy Flame Mace and God's Chained Blade, and her fighting skills rival those of Annelotte's. Like Melpha in Queen's Blade, she is also a user of the "Divine Power", the manifestation of God's miracles utilized by the provocative "Holy Poses". | The (more or less) leader of the "pack", Kiba follows his instincts towards Paradise. When he was young, his pack and family were slaughtered when the forest where he lived was burned to the ground by Jagara's troops. He was then raised by a native who told him that he had a purpose, explaining why the forest spared his life. This native told him that he would have a great journey ahead of him, and that journey was to find paradise. Kiba begins his quest for paradise in the hope that there he will finally find peace. He tends to be distrustful of humans, and in the early episodes is reluctant to take a human form, even when it's more convenient. He also has a 'love' for Cheza, which may only be due to the fact that she can lead them to paradise. Kiba seems to be an arctic wolf in the series. It is revealed later in the series that he is, in fact, the chosen one who is destined to find and open paradise. (Source: Wikipedia) Kiba's name means "fang" in Japanese. |

| Cheza is the Flower Maiden, a girl who was artificially created from a Lunar Flower by the noble Darcia the First using the lost art of alchemy. First appearing in a state of suspended animation within a scientific research lab, she was awakened by the smell of wolf's blood spilled in the brief fight between Tsume and Kiba. After the wolves steal her away, she is pursued by various other characters, forcing the pack to protect her constantly. She shares a special bond with the wolves and is the key to finding Paradise. | |

| Kei is always a smooth winner, he's rarely seen stressed out or concerned unless it involves Hikari in trouble. He likes to refer to Hikari as "Number Two," or "Miss Rank Two" which never fails to provoke her. He has the ability to remember anything he reads, including phone numbers. He excells at all subject from academics to athletics to martial arts. He usually prefers to do things on his own, until Hikari shows him how much fun it can be to work together with other people. He is first in 10th grade for best grades. He is in love with Hikari, but she is too dense to notice it. Although he doesn't come straight out and admit it, it is common knowledge among the SA that he loves her, and Kei himself also doesn't deny it. The reason he hasn't confessed his love to her or asked her out is because he figured, knowing her, she'd probably just laugh it off (yes, for all her intellectual excellence, she is quite stupid/naive/innocent when it comes to love). Although he is stoic most of the time and always keeps a calm facade under any circumstance, things involving Hikari are the only ones that bring out intense anxiety within him. It bothers him whenever Hikari pushes herself too hard, although it is for this very reason that he admires and respects her. His birthday is on November 22nd. |
