| The daughter of a great martial-artist, Arashi left her home in Day Town to live on her own in Night Town, going to the same neighborhood catholic school as Hajiki and his friends. She ran away from home feeling she would never be good enough for her father, who expected before her birth to have a son, only to be disappointed with a daughter instead. She was given a boy's name because he had so dearly wanted a son, and instead had to settle with her. She never felt as if she were good enough for him, no matter how she excelled in the martial arts, so she left to claim her freedom perhaps far sooner than she should have. | |

| Katana is the main anti-hero, who acts as antagonist to the main characters, while at the same time swinging between villain and ally from situation to situation, depending on his ever-shifting mood. Appearing as a gothic mutation of a schoolboy in a striped shirt, sweatervest, tie and slacks, all under a trench coat, Katana is tall and narrow in appearance, gaunt and deathly pale, with a noteworthy scar beneath his left eye, the origin of which is unknown. At the age of eighteen, Katana works as a man-for-hire, living on the garage-level of an abandoned building on the edge of a junk yard in Night Town. The quiet type, dark, cold, and stoic by nature, Katana lives for the most part alone, having no friends and seemingly not wanting any. Off and on in the series, Katana is involved with the Jacque Bruno gang, working as a Heavy Metal operator and in a way their muscle until he decides to go his own way (which he does often, even if they pop up every now and again). Personality-wise, he shows no interest in much of anything but money and rising to the top of the criminal ladder, as it were, his grand intention to rule over Night Town. While not evil, Katana is a sociopath. | |

| Hajiki is the main protagonist in Gad Guard. The short-tempered and somewhat jaded boy works as a courier for Hachisuka Express, to help his mother, Kyoko, pay the bills. The eldest child and only son of the Sanada family, Hajiki works as a delivery boy in Unit Blue. A bit of a degenerate and a punk at first, Hajiki skips school, races the cops on his skateboard or moped, and hangs out at all hours with his loser punk friends for lack of anything better to do. While he claims to have no dreams, it appears that there is more to the bed-head-plagued boy than meets the eye, as really, what sixteen-year-old has no hopes for the future? |

| Age: 22 Date Of Birth: January 6, 1989 Height: 154 cm Saki is in her last year in university. She is 22 years old, born on January 6, 1989. After her parents died she lived with her elder married sister, brother-in-law and niece. She visits New York City as part of her graduation trip with her friends and after visiting Washington D.C. alone, she meets Takizawa Akira who helps her out when is questioned by the police for suspicious behaviour. She gives the completely nude Akira her coat, scarf and hat. After noticing that she left her passport in the coat, she chases after Akira and then they decide to go back together to Tokyo, Japan. She plans later on working in a company under the recommendation of her brother-in-law because she is ashamed of living off their money. She could only go to college with the aid of her sister and her brother in law. Saki also harbours a long-time crush on her sister's husband, and especially wants to leave their house since she cannot bear being around him. Most of Saki's friends are NEETs who developed the Eden system that they plan to launch and bring themselves out of unemployment. Her only friend with a job, Ohsugi, has had a deep and long-lasting crush on her that she does not return; whether she is actually oblivious to his feelings or simply pretending not to notice as to not hurt his feelings is unclear. She starts developing a deeper connection with Akira as her fascination with the enigmatic stranger grows every time she meets him. |

| Micchon is a very shy girl, who is only open and frank when around people she is close to. She is apparently a genius programmer, as she is the person who programmed Eden of the East's image recognition software. She is also very good when it comes to working with computers. |

| A mysterious, unnamed bus driver smoking a cigar who seems to know more than he reveals and constantly shows up to offer advice to Tsukune. It is unknown if the bus driver is human or a yōkai, but he does have an extensive knowledge in the supernatural, he happens to know Mikogami, one of the three Dark Lords, personally, and has the same creepy glowing orb eyes as the latter. He also knows that Tsukune is a human, and it can be assumed that he himself is a powerful monster. | |

| Kumadori (クマドリ, Kumadori) is one of the last members of CP9 to be revealed, and is recognizable by his large frame, huge mane of pinkish hair, and a right eye that never seems to be open. He seems to honor the samurai honor code very heavily as he comically attempts to take his own life after dishonoring himself. As he accepts the blame for nearly anything, even faults of others, this happens quite often in his appearances. Before he commits seppuku, however, he instinctively uses tekkai every time, unintentionally saving his own life. He seems to have strong feelings for his deceased mother, beginning to sob, even while fighting, at the very thought of her. He claims her "divine protection" is the reason for his failed suicide-attempts. These dramatic statements are somewhat undercut by Oda's revelation that his mother is in fact alive, and working as an assassin. [3] He claims to dislike lies, though he seems to have no trouble with melodramatic stories. Kumadori is a sennin (仙人, a type of hermit in Japanese mythology who can control even their body's autonomic functions, as well as live forever, similar to fellow Shonen Jump character Jiraiya of the popular series Naruto), which explains his sudden weight gain/loss as well as the ability to control his hair. Kumadori is a very loud character, and utters very few sentences not written in bolded fonts and ending with exclamation marks. He has the strange habit of yelling something resembling "YOYOI!!" rather often. He tends to repeat or draw out syllables and words in the manner of kabuki actors. Kumadori's name most likely comes from the Japanese word kumadori (隈取り, a type of makeup used for kabuki), as his features look very similar to those of kabuki actors in their makeup. His body positions (especially his penchant for holding one hand out in front of him) are also reminiscent of mie poses, and his vocal inflection is similar to that of kabuki actors. His fighting abilities seem to revolve around controlling his hair, using it to grab his enemies and attacking them. He also has a shakujō that he occasionally uses in battle. He also has a penchant for spouting off haiku when fighting. Kumadori was originally fighting with Nami, who was at a severe disadvantage. However, Chopper appeared and helped Nami (after Nami had already stolen Kumadori's key) to escape, becoming Kumadori's opponent. Despite Kumadori's advantage of being a sennin, Chopper consumed a third Rumble Ball, and his subsequent "Monster Point" form severely injured Kumadori and threw him all the way back to the courthouse. |

Gajeel is quick-witted and excellent at gathering information. He usually wears a black suit, a white shirt and a tie. His permanent accessory is a black hat with a metal strip. He also has ear piercings. His peculiar difference is wavy hair, while Gajeel Redfox wears his hair in spikes. |
