| Mifune (ミフネ) is a recurring human character who seems to be of normal birth (not witch/weapon/demon/shinigami). He has not demonstrated any abilities as a Meister, rather as a samurai who wields multiple normal weapons, nor has he wielded a Demon Weapon; yet he seems to have knowledge about them, as he was able to appreciate Tsubaki's abilities. Mifune has been hired by gangsters and unsavory types in general repeatedly for his skills as a bodyguard. Despite being a stern character, he has a defining soft spot for children and is hesitant, if not utterly unwilling to hurt them. (The only known exception is Black Star, and that was to protect a younger child, Angela, and even then he holds back most instances during their battles.) Note: in the manga, Mifune has blonde hair and blue eyes. |

| Athletic and energetic, she loves to be seen with Manaka and is the most confident in her love for him. Completely open with her feelings and not afraid to show her thoughts (or her body for that matter), Kitaouji stands out because of her alluring body. She is a G-cup (the running joke is that her breasts are so big, they weigh her down) and her blouses occasionally pop open when she is emotional. Manaka and Kitaouji have a lot in common (including their tastes in TV shows and manga and their academic records) to the point that Manaka even said that if she were a guy, she would be the boss and he would be her most loyal friend. If any of the girls could be labeled as a tragic figure, it would be Kitaouji; despite her total devotion and physical, almost forceful, advances, Manaka constantly rejects her. His rejections crush her to a moving degree. At the end of the manga, she becomes the hostess of a relation's restaurant. Associated with the North ("Kita"). | |

| Shungo, the main character, is a talented martial artist and can even defend himself in his sleep. He seems to show little interest in women, as the girls in his school are frequently trying to get him to have intercourse with them, but as of yet, he has done his best to run away. In fact he shows almost no interest at all in women with the lone exception of Mayu and Reika. | |

Due to her timid nature, she tends to cry upon the slightest trouble, as well as utter the phrase “kusu”, in hopes that her beloved brother will come ‘save the day’ for her. According to the creators, she originates from France. Her elegant dressing of frills and lace is a further emphasis on that. She is extremely fond of cute things (animal plushies), sweets, and especially parfait. Aria has also been shown to possess many child-like qualities; such as a vivid imagination of the things around her, the referring to herself in third-person, and to speak in an awkwardly slow fashion. All twelve sisters has a unique way of calling their brother, and Aria addresses him as Nii-ya (兄や), which is perhaps the most childish way to call brother. |

| The protagonist, who discovers the world he lives in is an illusion and must fight to save the real world and protect the people who still live within the illusory world. He is a talented pilot and serves as the Altair Zegapain's Gunner. Kyo is an enthusiastic person who gets good grades and loves to swim more than anything else, but can also be reckless and become easily frustrated when he finds he cannot understand what is happening around him. As the anime develops, he begins to develop feelings for Kaminagi and vows to protect her. He has no memories of his past life, which he only learns of from Shizuno. | |

| Age: 22 Height: 187 cm Birthday: December 19 A nine tailed spirit fox, Soushi is also a mixed blood (youkai and human) like the other members of SS, but it is the most powerful one. Soushi usually is calm, polite and gentle to everyone, but has a soft spot for Riricho (his partner), he blindly obeys her like a "dog" and always tries to protect her above his own life. He also serves Kagerou Shoukin. Manga spoilers Inugami beheads him in front of Ririchiyo in chapter 18 during the Demon Raid. -Second arc- 23 years later He is 21 years old. Has no memories of his past life except for the vision of a girl with dark hair that constantly appears in his mind whenever he notices anyone with dark hair. However, even though he does not have any memories of his past self, he does know about Ririchiyo due to the previous Soushi placing all the pictures, letters, and anything related to Ririchiyo in a disk he found. He falls in love with Ririchiyo and grows insanely jealous of his past self due to Ririchiyo choosing him over this Soushi. Due to his past being dramatically changed-Ayame (Kagerou's mother) saves him earlier from his house arrest after being advised by the previous Ririchiyo-, Soushi does not learn the feelings of shame, guilt, trauma, or gain any experience in treating other women with care. The current Soushi is more pure than the previous Soushi, but he is more brutal, naive, introvert, distant, and clingy than the original Soushi. When deciding to write letters to the past to prevent tragedy from happening again, Soushi only writes the letter to previous Soushi using Ririchiyo's words. He wants to help Ririchiyo save the previous Soushi because the current Ririchiyo rejected the current Soushi because she can only love the past Soushi. |

| Age: 17 Height: 170cm Weight: 55kg Rin Tsuchimi is a seventeen year-old high school student and the male protagonist in the series. In the game, Rin is the role that the player assumes. As noted by Kaede, Rin's main virtue is his kindness. This is both his greatest strength, as the girls love him because of this, and his greatest weakness, as shown later in the series by his indecisiveness and goal to make everyone happy, which usually ends up hurting them instead. Rin tends to show minimal initiative when dealing with the girls around him (mostly because of the abuse he receives by fellow male classmates over his perceived relationship with his childhood friend Kaede). However, he starts to spend more and more time with both Lisianthus (Sia) and Nerine after they arrive and starts to develop feelings for them. With regards to Kaede, he thinks of her as a childhood friend only. When people comment that he and Kaede would make a good couple, Rin either waves it off or says that it is strange to think of it that way. This distance kept between them is caused in part by Kaede and Rin's dark past. |

| Birthday: November 10 Height: 162 cm Three Sizes: 83, 59, 84 Kaede Fuyou is Rin's beautiful childhood friend who grew up with him in the same house after her mother and Rin's parents died in a car accident. Some time after they started junior high school, Kaede started taking care of Rin, everything from housework to making him his meals. She is very down to earth, modest, polite and soft-spoken. However, at times she is seen showing signs of psychosis and even violence when a great shock upsets her. In the original game, this is only visible in the backstory after her mother dies, where she abuses Rin because she blames him for her mom's death while he takes her punishment so she won't fall in despair and depression. In order to atone for her actions in the past in which she mistreated Rin, Kaede decides to atone to Rin by cooking his meals and doing all the work around the house. Rin does not really want this, but he is afraid of making Kaede have a relapse by not allowing her to punish herself in this way. Kaede is shown to have romantic feelings for Rin, but considers herself unworthy to be loved by Rin or to stay by Rin's side. However, though it is not romance, Rin cares deeply about her. Although she has come to terms with her own feelings, she continues to love Rin, and declares this in the last episode. |

| Yasuko is Ryuuji's thirty-three-year-old mother, though she refers to herself as eternally twenty-three; she has large, F-cup-sized breasts. Soon after Ryūji was born, her husband died which left her to raise her son by herself. She works at a hostess bar named Bishamonten Kuni where she goes by the name "Mirano" and single-handedly supports her two-member family financially. However, she has a childish personality and since she works, she entrusts the household chores to Ryuuji. She instantly takes a liking to Taiga and already regards her as a member of her family.
