| The hero of the story. A former slave captured by the Barsburg Empire and considered to be the military academy's star pupil. His homeland is the former Kingdom of Raggs, and he was raised as an orphan in a church. It is later revealed that Teito had been entrusted with the Eye of Mikhail when the Empire invaded his home country, and he is the son of the former king of Raggs. At the start of the manga, Teito makes a promise with his best (and only) friend, Mikage, that they would die together. Unfortunately, Mikage gives up his life to save Teito from the Empire. Teito, shaken, swears revenge even though Mikage told him not to. At the 7th District church he starts studying to become a priest, so he can gain a priest's advantages on his way to revenge -- free room and board in any inn in the Empire, and less stringent inspections at borders. However, along his way he gets mixed up in the affairs of the Gods because of the Eye of Mikhail, and this eventually brings him grief. Teito has a slave tattoo on his back from when he was first captured, and wears a slave collar around his neck, put there by Ayanami, that will explode if he gets separated from Frau, the collar's master, for 48 hours. His birthday is the first of December, his blood type is O, he's 159 cm tall, and he weighs 43kg. Very loud, busty and hot-tempered she generally behaves like a tomboy. Liz is very dedicated to IGPX as it was something she fit in with. It is revealed in episode 6, "Cat vs. Dog", that Liz dislikes animals, especially dogs. She is also an avid martial artist, always practicing her Kung Fu (Capoeira in the microseries) and quoting Confucius. Takeshi's contrasting attitude and antics on and off the track are always annoying her, but it is because she feels he's never being 'honest' with her about his feelings. |

When she wears the penguin hat, her appearance and personality changes to that of a dominatrix, donning a skintight costume and ordering the brothers to obtain the Penguindrum in order to extend her life. When she was a child, she was part of the aspiring idol group "Triple H" with her friends Hibari and Hikari, but stopped speaking to them when she left school. She states that she is glad for their success. Himari is not related to Shouma and Kanba by blood, but became part of the Takakura family after being abandoned by her mother and have shared "the fruit of fate" with Shouma in the Child Broiler. |

| Deep Blue (ディープ・ブルー Dīpu Burū?) is the leader of the aliens and the primary reason they have returned to the Earth.[61] Deep Blue went to sleep within the Masaya personality, leaving Masaya with no memories of whom or what he really was, though he retained Deep Blue's disgust for the way humans were treating the environment. Unlike Masaya, Deep Blue is cold natured and cruel hearted. When he first emerges, he attacks Ichigo, cutting her arm. He also ignores Kish's plea that he not hurt Ichigo, determined to kill anyone who defies him. When Kish later challenges Deep Blue to a dual to protect Ichigo, Deep Blue kills him without any hesitation. Killing Kish enables the Masaya personality to temporarily re-emerge. Masaya is able to hold back Deep Blue when he tries again to kill Ichigo, then he releases the final mew aqua inside Deep Blue, which kills Deep Blue and himself but releases a healing force across Tokyo that restores Kish to life and heals the wounds of the Mew Mews, Ryou, Pie, and Tart. Though Deep Blue is the series primary antagonist, he does not actually appear until the end of the sixth volume of the manga. In the anime series, however, he appears in the form of a blue light to whom Kish gives progress reports. In the twenty-sixth episode, after Kish brings him a bit of mew aqua, Deep Blue is shown in a shadowed version of his true form until his full awakening in the forty-ninth episode. Deep Blue's death is also changed in the anime, with Masaya still holding Deep Blue at bay, but it being Mew Ichigo who uses her finishing attack to kill Deep Blue and free Masaya. To keep the true identity of Deep Blue a secret in the anime, he is listed in the original credits of the first two episodes as "Mysterious voice" (謎の声 Nazo no koe?) with a question mark in place of his voice actor's name. After the second episode, he is listed by name, but the question mark remains in the voice actor's spot until the forty-ninth episode when his identity is revealed. At that point, the credits are changed to show that the voice actor is Megumi Ogata, who also voices Masaya and the Blue Knight. Deep Blue is one of the few characters in the Mew Mew Power dub version whose name remains unchanged, however he is also changed from being a savior for the aliens to being a destructive force that wanted to destroy the Earth, which causes the others to turn against him.[citation needed] In the Mew Mew Power English adaptation of the anime series, he is voiced by Scottie Ray. He and Natsu have a friendly rivalry, and can often be seen fighting one another. Lucy believes the nature of his magic is the reason that he and Natsu constantly bicker. His member stamp is on the right side of his chest. Gray's adeptness and strength as an ice mage is quickly shown in the story. During the Lullaby of Death arc, he teams with Natsu and Erza to defeat the demon awakened from the evil spirit from the Lullaby of Death. Members of the League praise his quickness at molding ice. Later in the story, he defeats Juvia, one of the Elemental Four of Phantom Lord. This victory may have been partly influenced by Juvia's liking to Gray. Juvia comments on Gray's skill, shocked that he was able to freeze both her boiling water and the rain. After Phantom Lord's defeat, Juvia secretly spies on Gray, bringing a packed lunch for Gray while he and the guild are rebuilding the headquarters. In certain panels, Gray's necklaces looks quite similar to the Rave Stone which is a crucial part of another one of Mashima's stories, "Rave Master." Mashima has stated he doesn't remember the name. He takes off his clothes because Ul made him do it as one of her teachings and now it's a force of habit. The 18 year old Gray is voiced by Yuuichi Nakamura. The child time Gray is voiced by Eri Kitamura in Japanese and by Ryan Reynolds in English. |

| Pascia was a female dancer sold at the Auction House. She was no. 15 on the list and rated as the world's most beautiful slave girl, a 20 year old dancer of excellent "proportions". Sanji asked Nami if they could buy her as well, which Nami was not happy about it and responds by hitting him. Pascia is seen again when Franky throws the keys to the other slaves in the Auction House. Pascia's starting bid was 800.000 belli and she was sold for 7.200.000 belli. |

| Leila Barthes (レイラ・バルト Reira Baruto?) is the instructor in charge of Pilot Training at Stellvia. She used to be an elite pilot, and spent some time wallowing in despair after losing the "elite" tag. However, she recovers from this(after an incident on a space station that was under construction) and chooses to become an instructor at Stellvia. She is tough toward the students because she wants them to succeed, she has a loving smile toward the childlike attributes of her students and is very scary when she is mad. |
