	Tony Frost A sleeper awoken on Second Earth, Tony Frost, is easily the most powerful member of the Sleeper Brigade. Yuji strives to rival Tony’s skill, but to no avail. Though he seems to have no emotion, the apparent euphoric rush of destroying the Blue masks his emerging God complex as he elevates himself as some kind of messiah.

	Seno Miyagi The head of the science division on Second Earth, Dr Miyagi is introduced into the story by suggesting that Marlene and Yuji are kept together in order to get the best results from Yuji in the sleeper program. Disagreeing with the High Council's leadership of Second Earth and its reckless use of the sleepers, he forms a group called The Ark, which overthrows the High Council after the second deployment of the Sleeper Brigade results in a massacre because the High Council falsified data, and ignored the warnings of the Science Division.

	Alicia Whistle A sleeper awoken on Second Earth, who is initially paired with Rick. She immediately becomes interested in Yuji, having been awakened on Earth. She is very young and often naïve. She constantly inquires as to the state of the Earth, still thinking the world she once knew still exists.

	Yuji Kaido After being diagnosed with an incurable disease in 2009, Yuji Kaido goes in cryogenic sleep in hopes that an effective treatment will be developed soon. In 2031, Yuji wakes up to find the world overrun by a deadly new species known as 'Blue'. After falling out of his stasis chamber and regaining consciousness, Yuji finds himself about to be eaten by a giant Blue only to be saved by Marlene Angel inside the cockpit of an Armor Shrike. He then takes shelter with recovery team: Gran Seil. Forced into and unfamiliar world destroyed by the blue, Yuji agrees to travel with Marline Angel to 2nd Earth.
