wearing: kiteiru きている
clothing: hifuku, youfuku
not sure about the grammar since even the english one isnt really following grammar rules, but just has it as a single word.

gramatically, the -か- should be a -や- since the ka would be the "or" in the sense that you're asking for several things that it could be, but the ya would be you, the person, listing what you want it to be. like the difference in saying "is it black or brown" or "give me black or brown" and this is a query. maybe I'm wrong.

hope this helps. i have a feeling they had a different name for blond hair rather than "bulondo" but ill have to remember what it was.

着ている literally "in the state of wearing". That fits, thanks.

As for か vs. や. Grammatically speaking you are correct. か is used in an exhaustive categorical listing. や is used in the case of a partial listing as would seem to be the context of the listing. However, か denotes more strongly the sense of selecting an alternative than や, therefor か was chosen over や after considerable research into alternative particles meaning "or" (や、か、やら、と、の), consultation with Japanese students, and even asking my Japanese teacher at college.

As for blonde, now that I think about it there's a good chance you're right. Considering brown in Japanese is written "Tea Color", perhaps there's a light brown object that means blonde.

^as for blonde, the word is kinpatsu. Literally means gold haired.

kinpatsu / きんぱつ / 金髪

I like that better than the other word I was using. Another thing... don't Google the Kanji unless you're over 18. lol

that's why I have Firefox as my browser, I have a dictionary plugin that gives translations for kanji that I mouse over.
