Thinking about adding cosplay pics to the site. This could be useful for:

Finding ideas of characters to cosplay.
Seeing various costume ideas.
Finding characters that are overly cosplayed.


Cosplay images would show up on the character profile page, plus they'd be browseable based on character name and number of images.

If there's interest in this, I'd try to implement it quickly. In the meantime, always the option of a cosplay thread with images. ^_^

that would definitely be interesting, however it seems that it would be underutilized until we get someone who is big into cosplay submitting images. IMO right now just the subforum would work until we get a good amount of images, then work on incorporating it into the database.

Agreed. I'll keep the idea open for now. What I'm finishing up tonight is "other characters". There's enough non-human main characters out there to warrant a category of their own. Think Tama from Hayate, Ein from Cowboy Bebop, and Ryo-Ohki from Tenchi Muyo, or even Piccolo from DBZ.

What you can do is go around in cosplay.com and tell some of the cosplayers there about it. I'm sure someone would be interested in this database. I'm still learning about databasing myself, but I'm surprised that its not done that often, even in a community of anime / video game nerds.

I dont have any photos myself since Ive never cosplayed, but I'm sure making a connection between the cosplayers and the characters they are representing has to be a good idea.
