I don't think either is very good. :( I'll need some decent graphics / tiles / gradients to make something worthy.

I solved the speed issue by making the double arrows skip/move 10 characters, using a fancy redirect.
The extra pictures should be OK. The DB query is fast, the images arn't too bad size wise. Reminds me, maybe I should generate even smaller thumbnails to cut down on the size some more. Ah, another day.

I know the top 2 reasons are a mix of
1) Browsing Images
2) Looking up characters

Hmm, maybe I'll try to make the Top most part of the profiles really simple and to the point....

Ah, okay. I wasn't sure if you had it at hand or not. Just covering the bases you know.

Hmmm... I think the extra images should go between -A- and -B- since it would be a more logical place than anywhere else.

Time to go check the new stuff out.

As I said, it's a rough idea. Hmm... as I look at it now, maybe the profile (at the bottom) should go under the additional images instead. *doesn't want to edit and repost the picture*

Oh, I photoshopped some other pictures of Naru just as a place holder.... (I didn't feel like searching for something else...)

Perhaps the "Apparent Gender", "Real Gender", "Eye Color", etc should be labeled as "Character Details" instead?

I like the first better (with the white genre bars), but try a light gray background instead (#CDCDCD) of the light cyan, but keep the rest of the colors of the text.

I photoshopped the image so it looks like what I'm talking about.


Maybe slightly lighter than #CDCDCD? But I'd say stick with gray, and just play around with different tints of gray.

Ahhh now thats better on the eyes... and that way you dont have to change the background
but that looks fine to me rei. but i might agree on 13's idea with a greyish blue with a white bar

Oh yeah.... I noticed this last night and then got distracted and forgot until now.



The "Apparent Gender" drop-down reads as "Apparent Age" instead, and the "Hair Color" drop-down reads as "Eye Color" instead. Luckily I figured out which one was which with the colors (can't have a "blonde" eye lol). It's supposed to help, not confuse lol.

The order of the pictures in the vector don't stay.

So we start off with Naru:




And then click on Shinobu:




And then Sarah:



Note that the pictures don't stay in the same place, which may be annoying to other users.

Thanks again for catching those 13x31!

I updated the menu labels, now correctly starting with: Gender, Eye Color, Hair Color, etc.

I'll see if I can find a fix to the vector order. Taking a little break today, but I'll be back coding like mad either tonight or Sunday.

I'll tweak the theme a little more too.
