Forum theme has been updated. Character vector image order has been fixed. Also added name and source under the center image. Running a few optimization benchmarks on database memory usage now. はい。I'm learning Japanese slowly (really ought to stick to it) with Rosetta Stone. So far I think it's worth the money. *checks out fixes*

(I'm pretty sure it speaks for itself lol) But there's some "random" numbers that have been appearing at the end of the posts. I'm pretty sure you're working on it, but the "previous thread/next thread" links don't work, I can't browse within thread pages, and I can't post a reply. Also another thing I noticed (although not really related to the new system), is that the #00ff00 text in your signature is kinda hard to read. Use #008000 instead? Just something that caught my eye when I was editing the pictures (the screenshots I take are .tiff, so I have to use photoshop to convert them to .jpg. I think I can change it, but I'd have to look.... it's getting a bit annoying.) and not really that big of a deal. D: That log looks a tad bit scary lol. [ Edited Jun 6, 2010 ]

I don't have too much to say on this at the moment, but I think it's admirable that you're writing your own minimal forum software for better security (and it's nice of you to use the current forum database for it – there's a lot of knowledge in these forums that would be a shame to lose). It also allows you to integrate other parts of the site into the forums, as you seem to be doing already.

Good to see you're back Kyareshi, I wanted to ask you a bit on database backwards compatiability...
http://www.animecharactersdatabase.com/forum_example.txt As far as I can see.... for a new post, I'll have to run 4 update statements... if you think I missed a field, please let me know. I'll be testing this on the development server first, so no damage if I screw up. lol 13x31, I saw those numbers too. Your post helped me realize they were "edited timestamps" so I replaced the numbers with something like "Last Edited: Thu, 03 Jun 2010 21:06:30 -0600". You might have to refresh to get the new style/CSS. Mostly spent this morning doing security research. Been banning an ever growing botnet for 2 hours now: 420 IP's. Programmed the web server to serve up 403 errors, and NEVER allow them to reach the PHP+MySQL layer... so we'll be up, meanwhile http://e107.org is DOWN. LOL

I'm afraid I've never seen the insides of forum software before. How are replies tracked in those tables? Is there a row in e107_forum_t for every post, or are those just the topics (e.g. "New Forum, ACDB v2")?

All guesses on my part, but it looks like there's only two tables.
All posts are going into e107_forum_t.
