Hello, Vocaloid fans! I've found a special treat for you, something cute and functional:

This version of Hatsune Miku's leek is also an awesome sensu fan. Since the Heian era, sensu have been used not only to provide a cool breeze, but also to express courtesy, as presents, and as a means of communication. In many famous historical texts and works of literature, such as The Tale of Genji, people are mentioned as writing Japanese poems on sensu, or sticking flowers to them and sending them as presents. Amongst the samurai class, they were considered as equivalent to a sword, and respected accordingly. Sensu fans invented in Japan received high praise for their compact folding design. This modern-day fan continues the useful tradition by also being a great cosplay accessory!

And now for Cirno's Perfect Trivia Class!

Thank you to LeNeko and KidA for participating so far!

If you would like to submit your answer you can send it to cirno@animecharactersdatabase.com, or send me a PM. I will give you the answer tomorrow.

Their polka-dot pattern and the asymmetry are perfect for being different. You can really use them with any style, and wear them anywhere. They could be worn as part of a fancy or sporty outfit, or any and all things in between, whatever your style! So put your different on!

And now for Cirno's Perfect Trivia Class!

The answer to yesterday's question is: A hachimaki (鉢巻) is a stylized headband (bandana) in Japanese culture, usually made of red or white cloth, worn as a symbol of perseverance or effort by the wearer. These are worn on many occasions, for example, by sports spectators, by women giving birth, students in cram school, office workers, expert tradesmen taking pride in their work, bōsōzoku (teen biker gangs) and even rioters. They are generally decorated with inspirational slogans, like 日本一 (Nippon Ichi, "the best of Japan" or "Japan's best"), but most typically with the rising sun motif.
