Welcome to Stuff of the Day everyone! I notice a lot that some people put a big effort into trying to be the same as everyone else. Sometimes it's nice to be different and do things because you like to, not because everyone else is. Individuality is power. Today I have something that you could use to be different and stand out from the boring old normal people:
These wonderful socks can add that colourful touch you outfits needs! They come in different colours and they are all wonderfully stripy. You can wear them with skirts, shorts, or even (like a good friend of mine) over your pants! They have a strong elastic at the top to keep them up while you show your courage to be different. Embrace the power. Be you.
Yesterday's Answer: Obi (帯, おび) is a sash for traditional Japanese dress
Today's question:
What is a hachimaki (鉢巻)?
Remember, if think you know what the answer is you can send it to cirno@animecharactersdatabase.com, or send me a PM. I will give you the answer tomorrow.

And now for Cirno's Perfect Trivia Class!
The answer to yesterday's question is: Zori (草履) are flat and Japanese sandals similar to flip-flops, which first appeared in New Zealand and the United States sometime around World War II. They were originally made of rice straw or other plant fibers, cloth, lacquered wood, leather, and rubber. Nowadays Zōri are quite similar to flip-flops,s they are also being made with man-made materials. The flip-flops many of us wear today came from rubber imitations of the wooden thong sandals long worn in Japan.
Today's question:
What is an Obi (帯, おび)?

Hello again! For yesterday's Stuff, I asked what are the socks that can be worn with geta. Today, our Item is the answer:
Tabi socks! Tabi (足袋) are essential with traditional clothing like kimono and yukata. Ankle-high and with a separation between the big toe and other toes, they are worn by both men and women with, geta, zori, and other traditional thonged footwear. They are also very comfortable, and have certainly passed the test of time, having been once worn by ninjas and samurai, and growing in popularity today.
And now for the rest of Cirno's Perfect Trivia Class!
Today's question:
What are zōri (草履)?
To submit your answer you can PM me or send it to cirno@animecharactersdatabase.com. You can see the answer in tomorrow's episode.
~ 'Til then,
Kawaii or NOT?!
