In general, this is not a very violent series. But it does have moments of extreme violence. An arm being cut off in one episode, and people being killed in others.
It's not that violent. Sure, there are a few violent scenes, where people's limbs get severed and a lot of scenes with blood, but Attack on Titan is way more brutal and contains way more bloody, violent scenes. The battles are nice though!
