| Kuga Kyouichirou is a character in Daibanchou: Big Bang Age. His appearance is shown by the picture and described in the table, but I'd like to add that he is also missing an eye, as it's not immediately noticeable. He is most likely the same age as Rouga. The way he dresses is symbolic of his power. He can manipulate shadows and bend them to his will. His general attack is summoning a giant shadow dog to rip the heads off of his enemies. He also has a special attack that launches a storm of darkness at his opponent. It's pre-emptive, long-range, and prevents the opponent from counterattacking. He can also freeze 10 or so weak enemies in place with little effort, although he does not show this power in actual combat. Despite the way he dresses, Kuga is a very caring individual. His alignment is Lawful Good with both parts of the alignment shown, but he has a tendency towards Good. He is Good is the sense that he will help people without requiring anything in return. He is nice to everybody he meets unless he judges them to be bad people, in which case he will show them no mercy. In the game he is shown fetching a girl's handkerchief out of tree (with his shadow power). When he wins the lottery for one of his stars, he donates all of the money to charity. His Lawfulness isn't shown too much, but it is apparent when he does not immediately reprimand Sparn for his actions because he didn't want Zanma Rouga to lose a member of his army. He also memorized the school registry because he thought he might need to know the names of Rouga's allies, despite being a lone wolf. He can be impulsive and driven by emotion, but he only lets those dictate his course of action, and not his actual actions. He thinks his plans through and does not generally encounter problems in their execution. His Good barely overpowers his Lawfulness when he finally denounces Sparn for his actions and Sparn leaves. He is also slightly oblivious to women. In battle, he's extremely useful and IMO, is the best battle character in the game with the exception of someone like Super Heita. Unlike Super Heita, however, he is available for most of the game. He has slightly more health and power and a little bit less stamina than Rouga (who is already incredibly good), as well as decent hit and avoid (he'll never miss and can dodge many attacks, although not as well as people like Kunagi or Abao Akuu). He has an extremely high counter rate for a medium range attacker (48%), although I wouldn't rely on it too much. He has an advantage against several types, and not many people have an advantage against his. He has a special attack that prevents the enemy from counterattacking that round, no matter what their range is. It's superior to Rouga's in almost every way, even costing less stamina. Kyouichirou can use his attack 3 times before being drained while Rouga can only use it twice, and he can use it without fear of getting destroyed. Even if he does get hit, such as when 3 strikes isn't enough and you must spread out his stamina. Additionally, Kyouichirou is not needed for storyline battles, so you can use his attack without fear of being stamina drained for an important battle. Kyouichirou is practically invincible once he is character cleared (although doing that is a bench), and despite being underleveled in chaos mode, is still useful because of his no-counterattack special. He is one of the best characters to have and is always there to get out of a jam. |

| A carefree young man with a sinister side, Yahiro has known both Kei and Akira since they were children. He holds the distinction of having beaten Kei once during their childhood in a game of tag which Kei lost because Yahiro had locked the door to the roof to prevent Kei from winning. Yahiro attends Kokusen Academy, another high school, and is the heir to the Saiga Financial Group, a group that is even higher in status than the Takishima group. Because Yahiro's attitude towards others often upset them, he had very few friends as a child aside from Akira and Kei; his relationships with both of them eventually became strained and distant from his overprotective attitude toward Akira. As a result, Yahiro chose not to become friends with anyone until he met Sakura; at first, he had rejected her offer to become friends with her, but complied after they went through a lot of trouble to save the rabbit they were trying to bring back to its home in the mountains. Yahiro has harboured a crush on Akira since childhood and is very protective of her, willing to use whatever means necessary to protect her, even if she hates him for it. It is this protective nature that made him drive away Akira's only friend, Sayo, after he overheard her saying how she never liked Akira and was only her friend because Akira was rich and she enjoyed all the privileges and status that came with the friendship. Akira had believed that Yahiro had been jealous of her relationship with the "poor" kid she was playing with and never forgave Yahiro for ending her friendship with Sayo. He never told Akira the truth and has no intention of telling her. His hatred of "poor" people comes largely from this incident, which made him believe the poor exploit the rich. He eventually gives up his feelings for Akira, telling Tadashi that if he ever makes Akira cry, he will never forgive him. Because he still cares for Akira, Yahiro initially only sees Megumi as an important person to him and encourages her to sing, but gradually comes to reciprocate Megumi's feelings for him. |

| Sakura is the daughter of the head of Ushikubo Medical Manufacturing Group and is Kei's first marriage meeting (or omiai) partner to appear in the series. While she does not consider Kei her type, describing him as a "dark lord" rather than a "prince", she considers him a possible marriage partner because his abilities would be advantageous to her family's business. Sakura hates dishonest people with a passion, and her family's motto is centered around honesty and punishing/loathing dishonest people. Hikari's straightforward and honest nature allows the girls to become friends. She attends the same school Yahiro does and sometimes plans stuff out with him (whether the plans be good or evil). Sakura falls in love with Jun at first sight, as he fit her ideal of someone who was a "prince", and accepts his split personality. She begins to date Jun soon after; however, because of her forceful personality, she is uncertain if Jun reciprocates her feelings until he admits to her that he does. Sakura first appears in volume 4. | |

| Takamatsu is an honor student who has a polite personality and wears glasses. He mainly contributes to the SSS through intelligence gathering and other affairs, but does not actively fight. Yuri herself says to not be fooled by his glasses and that he is actually an idiot. Though appearing to be slender, he works out and is actually well-built muscle-wise. After he first reveals this, he tends to take his shirt off, much to everyone's discomfort. He is absorbed by a shadow and is turned into an NPC. However, having strong enough feelings (according to Yuri), he is able to regain his senses and manages to disappear like the others. He carries a Desert Eagle as a side-arm, but is also seen using a Sig 552. | |

| Noda is a self-reliant boy who executes the strategies formed by the SSS and fights with a halberd. He does not listen to anyone other than Yuri, for whom he has adoration, and is antagonistic to almost everyone else.He has a one-sided rivalry with Otonashi. He is a complete idiot whose weakness is education; at one point, Takeyama is able to knock him out by reciting pi. He is not afraid to harm or kill anyone who gets in Yuri's way.Though he prefers to fight with his halberd, he sometimes uses guns out of necessity, the type of weaponry that he hates. | |
