	Ink Nijihara - The hero of Moetan. She lives next door to Nao and is infatuated with him. Even though she is 17 she is often mistaken as a grade-schooler, however she makes up for it with her high grades, especially in English. She meets Ah-kun who gives her the power to transform into the magical hero Pastel Ink; using a pink flip phone, her "magical girl transformation" uses ribbons to censor the "naughty bits". She transforms into a duck-like outfit with blue hair. Using this new power she helps the people of her city while also using it to tutor Nao in English. In episode 12 she has lost her magical abilities but still continues to tutor Nao under her own design of Pastel Ink and gets into the same college as he; she has not yet revealed to him that she is Pastel Ink. Ink's quirks are that she is very clumsy, often tripping over nothing, a trait she seems to have gotten from her mother; and becoming entranced to the point of drooling at the thought of being alone with Nao-kun.

	Sumi Kuroi Sumi is also in love with Nao and becomes Ink's rival. She is 17 years old even though she looks like a grade-schooler. She is very rich and has a spoiled attitude because of that. Sumi also has a notable love of cats, to where she has practically everything in her room in a cat image, even her own nightgown is a large cat suit (with a scrotum). She and Ink where friends when they were younger but for unknown reasons they broke apart (probably because of jealousy since she is horrible at English), even though Ink still tries to be Sumi's friend. A few quirks of hers are that the end of the long strand of hair coming from the front of her head usually portrays what ever she is feeling (!,#, gloved finger pointing); and that she usually falls asleep while studying, which results in her getting hit in the head with a slipper by her maid Ruriko. By the end of the series it seems that her crush for Nao has all but faded and she has started to develop feelings for her magical partner Ka-kun (he has feelings for her as well) and has become good friends with Ink once again. Sumi changes into her magical form Tempera Sumi using a red flip phone, through the use of stars, putting her in a cat style outfit with her hair turned red.

	Dalian Dalian (ダリアン Darian?) Voiced by: Miyuki Sawashiro The Kuro Yomihime (黒読姫?, literally "black reading princess"), or Black Biblioprincess. A young girl with long black hair tinted purple and large dark pink eyes, she is the custodian of the Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian housing 900,666 phantom books. Because of this, she generally considers herself of great importance and believes to be more knowledgeable than most humans, even going so far as to praise others in an presumptuous manner when they exhibit more wisdom than she anticipated. When asked a question that calls for a confirmatory answer, she will reply "Yes" in English rather than Japanese. She is often seen as a judgmental and arbitrary character, which clashes with her unexpected weakness for sweets; whenever presented with something sweet, or the opportunity to eat something sweet, a small lock of her hair will flick out from the rest of her head.

	Hugh Anthony Disward Hugh Anthony Disward (ヒュー・アンソニー・ディスワード Hyū Ansonī Disuwādo?) Voiced by: Daisuke Ono Dalian's Keykeeper, also known as Huey. A young man with wavy dark blonde hair and sharp blue eyes, he is a former Air Force Pilot and the grandson of the previous Keykeeper Sir Wesley Disward, who left Huey the Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian and Dalian in his will. He is often seen as a calm and generally unfazed character who takes everything in stride, as he accepted his new-found responsibilities as the Keeper of the Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian without much question or argument. When he retrieves books from Dalian, he appears as a young child inside of the Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian, speaking with a librarian or possibly even the materialized form of the archives themselves (which normally takes the appearance of a girl dressed in white with twin silver pigtails and purple eyes). He and Dalian appear to share a very formal and business-like relationship.

	Flamberge Flamberge (フランベルジュ Furamberuju?) The Gin Yomihime (銀読姫?, literally "silver reading princess") or Silver Biblioprincess, otherwise known as the custodian of the Long-Lost Library. She is often called just "Flam" for short. She appears to be a girl in her teenage years, with long silver hair and sharp magenta eyes. She wears a white straitjacket with nine padlocks, although she says that she chose to wear it herself because she thought it "matches Hal's tastes". In comparison to Huey's technique of retrieving Phantom Books from Dalian, the method used by Hal to retrieve books from Flam is shown to be very raw, painful and less dignified. She is often seen as a very arrogant and unpleasantly blunt character, and enjoys harassing Hal by accusing him of having perverted tendencies or a dirty mind.

	Iris Blanchimont The titular heroine of the game, human incarnation of Lilith and reputed last survivor of Eden. Iris lived during the age of Avenberry and developed the art of alchemy greatly. Her theories, called Iris' Theories, are still widely used by alchemists today, including Klein.

She has amnesia, so she cannot remember how she died, and she is looking for her original body to try to remember her past, but this does not affect her good humor. She enjoys being a ghost, and always says she's looking for a cute guy to be with.
