She can possibly invade anything that uses electricity and gives her all in doing things that Shintaro hates. Regarding eye abilities. Was once a human by the name of Takane, but lost her body after being poisoned. As a human she was a classmate with Haruka Kokonose. She entered the Heat Haze, was possessed by the Opening Eyes snake, and uses it to reincarnate herself as a program. Fate Only in the novel and anime timelines, she is brought to her original body by Kano. After re-entering it, she is able to move from her original body to electronic devices and vice versa. Reimu is very easygoing — some would say lazy — and hates to train. As such, even though she's naturally talented, her offensive and magical abilities are only average. However, she has a strong sense of duty, and if it's for the sake of Gensokyo she can overcome almost any obstacle through sheer perseverance. Her main abilities are flying in the sky, good intuition, and getting along with everyone; even those who were once her enemies. He's also a worrywart and his big weakness is his indecisive nature, which shows up any time he has to make a decision. Usually seen in a pair with his friend Hachiya Saburou, who likes to use Raizou's face as a disguise, making the two look identical most the time. In the original work Raizou’s hair is black; however, in the anime it is a bright brown. His name is taken from the proverb "付和雷同 (following blindly)". |

His real face remains a mystery, as he's always in disguise as someone else. In personality he's also something of a mischievous trickster, though he can also show a more serious side as class 5-Ro's class president. Usually seen in a pair with friend and classmate Fuwa Raizou who he's disguised as most the time. When disguised as someone other than Raizou, he seems especially fond of using Shinbei's face. |

His class causes him a lot of stomach aces and worry, and he often loses patience with them due to their inability to pay attention or remember the theory he's thought them. However, he's very well-liked by his students, and he doesn't take kindly to anyone else looking down on them. Theoretically skilled with explosives and strategy, though in reality he often ends up taking down opponents using school supplies such as chalk, blackboard erasers or the attendance book instead of actual weapons. Kirimaru stays with him during school holidays, and the two of them have become a lot like family. |

His father is a ninja and his mother a mostly retired kunoichi, and he entered the Ninjutsu Academy to become a ninja himself as well. However, his dream is to become a first-rate ninja instead of a mostly unemployed one like his father. This might be a difficult goal to reach, since like the rest of Class 1-Ha he's easily distracted and mostly focused on goofing off and having fun together with his best friends Kirimaru and Shibei instead of studying. As a member of the famously unlucky Health Committee, he's often the victim of bad luck of all kinds. |

In the anime she comes from a farmer family. In the manga, he is often seen together with Yuki, and in the anime as a trio with Oshige. |

| Yamada Denzou's only son. He is a very competent and respected 18-year-old freelance ninja who's constantly busy with work. Despite his father being a Ninjutsu Academy teacher, he didn't go there himself; however, he does often visit his father at his work, and the students there all look admire him a lot. Since Ninjutsu Academy is far from their home in Mount Hyono where his mother lives, Rikichi often runs errands between his parents and tries to convince his father to go home more often. |

| Age: 15 Class: Year 6, Class Ha Committee: Health Committee chairman He is a nice, friendly and caring student who has a personality akin to a gentle big brother. However, he's most known for his incredibly bad luck. Not only is he the current chairman of the famously unlucky Health Committee, he's been assigned to it every year since first grade. As such, his bad luck is so strong by now that it even affects people not in the committee when they're in close proximity to him, with people such as his roommate Kema Tomesaburou being a frequent victim. Bad luck aside, he's very knowledgeable about medicine and takes his committee duties very seriously. He makes a point of always treating anyone injured, be they ally or enemy. One of the people he's treated is Tasogaredoki ninja team leader Zatto Konnamon, who considers himself in debt to Isaku and something of an ally of the Health Committee ever since. |
