I've read all the currently released volumes of Seirei and I have to say that the dying chances are pretty darn extreme there as well lately xD No waifus died yet due to plot armor but yeah. Concerning DaL, I haven't read the latest 2 volumes but all in all that world also has quite some dangers.

Neither world is safe but if I really really had to choose then I'd live in the Seirei Tsukai world, preferably in a mix of both though due to Est and Kurumi awesomeness (view post)

Well, I wouldn't say the anime of Blade Dance sucked, but they did skip a few important scenes, which decreased the amount of serious/promising moments; i still enjoyed the anime nonetheless, even if the LN is, of course, much much better.
As for the world, based on me watching both seasons of DaL and reading 4n'half Volumes of STnBD, i'd choose BD. While DAL has Kurumi, Origami and Kotori, the death chances are higher whether you are a civilian or a fighter, than in BD. Plus BD still has bEst girl, Rinslet and Fianna, so it's also good in girls-matter. (view post)

First of all the Seirei tsukai no Blade dance anime sucked hard compared to the light novel, so please don't hate too badly on the story though I can't blame you after that anime.

Both of their worlds have some serious issues, blade dance has demons and gods trying to destroy the world. Date a live has crazy alien like creatures and corrupt humans with crazy mechas trying to destroy the world.

So in general I would not want to live in each of their worlds....HOWEVER the girls in those shows make it more than worth it imo. Blade dance has Est and as we all know est is the best. DaL has Kurumi who is just hnnnnnnngg. Both of those girls are pretty much perfect but in different ways.

neither...sure Erza has nonsense friendship powerups the entire time but she is still a very sweet and heartwarming person that cares a lot about her friends.
Natsu just like erza seems to enjoy himself a lot of friendship powerups mid-combat however I find him to be one of the more entertaining protagonists. Also Natsu getting away for what he did? What did Natsu do according to you? If you mean in the current airing episodes those are FILLERS as in not part of the real storyline and not even in the manga.
Natsu always gives it his all for his friends and so does Erza, if we overlook their random powerups these two characters are great to have around and I wouldn't want either of them beat 99.9999% to death... (view post)

The awesomeness of chapter 418 made me remember why I love fairy tail so much!
Sure it has problems with friendship powerups in mid combat or cliche villains once in a while.
However the sheer joy I got when seeing Natsu as a badass, lucy also doing her best and then the two of them meeting again after a year was just spectacular. Sure it might not be the craziest plot ever but it warmed my heart and I guess that is what Fairy Tail is about. So yeah, sure I will complain again in the future about some of the fights and all the random friendship power-ups but the story has more than enough heartwarming moments to make up for that. Kirito has nice skill but Ichigo can teleport at the speed of light in just his old bankai form. In the 2nd season he was already at a level where he could easily cut up huge buildings with 1 slash and he has getsuga tenshou which is basically the bleach version of kamehameha.
I will not say that Ichigo has more swag ( which he might also possibly have but that's not the point here ) however you are basically saying that Kirito would beat Goku in a hand to hand fight by saying he can beat Ichigo in a swordfight. It's ridiculous on many levels, liking a character does not make him stronger. Yuuji from Grisaia no Kajitsu is one of my favorite characters but he is just a human like Kirito so he will never be able to compete with powerhouses like Ichigo. (view post)
