Hm, I guess you´re right.
Then maybe the "Yandere" tag should be removed from Kurumi´s character traits and maybe be replaced with a tag like "Psychopatic", "Bloodthirsty" or "Cruel" instead or something like that, because she is not really a "Normal, daily life" girl in this anime.

no, NOOOOOOOOOOO nonononono. I did not see you mention Kurumi's "yandere" mode.
Kurumi is not a yandere at all, she has shown absolutely zero Yandere behavior throughout the show. No obsessive behavior towards protag, jealousy/murderous intent to other girls for being with the protag. None of that.

However she is a nutjub psycho that loves killing, but since her killing has nothing to do with romance it is not Yandere. Otherwise we'd have to call every killer a yandere. ( Aizen from bleach, Blackbeard from One Piece, the killer of Bambi's mom etc ) on the Kurumi note, she is my favorite character by far and the voice acting done for her character is beyond amazing.

Also concerning the show itself, very entertaining watch. I've rewatched it multiple times and read part of the light novel and would still rewatch it some more times

Date a Live is one of my favorite animes. (among a lot of others)
There is plenty of humour, action and some really cute girls. (even though a few of them might be a little scary sometimes, like Kotori´s spirit form and ofcourse Kurumi´s ruthless yandere mode)
But that´s pretty much what I like in anime when it comes to these types of girls. (I probably have a death wish... just kidding lol!) (view post)
