Story
Girls und Panzer is set in a world where the art of operating tanks (戦車道 Sensha-dō ) is a common traditional skill for girls. Miho Nishizumi, the story's protagonist, comes from a family with a long history of tank operation and she moves to Oarai Girl's High School to escape the world of tanks. However, when her past catches up to her, the student council president orders Miho to participate in the upcoming Sensha-dō national championship.
Note: The Oarai Girl's High School tanks have been added to assign which member to what team, what position on said team, and they were the only tanks given names. All others had designations, such as: Team A-15; or Team B-8.
