| Hild is the ruler of all demons and she is also the most powerful character in Ah! My Goddess but she is also equal to The Almighty. Hild is the mother of Urd and her stepdaughters are Belldandy and Skuld (Urd's two younger half sisters). She was also the ex-wife of The Almighty and she wears a lot of jewelry to seal most of her universe destroying powers. She hates The Almighty because of his personality and she dislikes the goddesses (especially Belldandy) and Keiichi Morisato due to them underestimating the demons. Hild has the ability to split a 1000th of herself and she still remains a deadly problem to the goddesses. Hild is often by Mara's (Marller) side to guide her on how to deal with the goddesses and she remains undefeated just like The Almighty. | |

| Kandata is a bandit who kills people without mercy. He is energetic and sadistic. He also sees fun and entertainment when committing crimes. In the end he is killed by the king and sent to "hell" where he becomes confused, scared, and lost. When the spider sends its thread down from heaven for Kandata, he pushes all of the "others" away so he can be the only one to climb out. However, his greediness pays the price and the thread snaps while the spider turns away. He appears in the story "The Spider's Thread" otherwise known as episode 11. |

| Natsu is an fire mage, who uses a special type of magic called Dragon Slayer magic. This magic allows him to eat flames, punch with flames, breathe flames and pretty much bathe in flames. This is the only type of magic that will actually hurt dragons, since all other attacks seems to not even tickle them. I don't know why, it doesn't seem that powerful compared to other mages. | |

| Kamiya Kaoru is the only child of Kamiya Koshijiro, who was the founder of Kamiya Kasshin Ryu and head of the Kamiya Dojo. After her father was killed in the Seinan War, Kaoru was left to run the dojo herself, even though she was only at the level of assistant master. At first everything went OK with Kaoru training ten students in her father's style. However, rumors started circling about a killer claiming to be Hitokiri Battousai, a legendary killer from the Bakumatsu Revolution, who was killing people around town and claiming to use Kaoru's sword style to so. Battousai's ominous reputation caused Kaoru's students to leave the dojo one by one until only she was left. With no students to pay for lessons, how would Kaoru possibly keep her father's dojo? One night, Kaoru was out patrolling around Tokyo, looking for Battousai when she ran into a small swordsman with long red hair and a cruciform scar on his left cheek... Kaoru is a sweet-souled lass, kind-hearted and ready to help out all who need it, sometimes to her own detriment. However, she's very hot tempered and will beat up on anyone who makes snide remarks about her father's dojo or her cooking, in which her skill is sorely lacking. Frightened of being left alone after her father's death, Kaoru throws open her dojo doors to anyone who needs a home then clings fiercely to them once she gets attached to them. |

| During the Bakumatsu Revolution, Himura Kenshin was known by the name Hitokiri Battousai, which translates as Blade Drawing Master Assassin. Using the deadly Hiten Mitsurugi sword style from Japan's Feudal Era, Battousai was able to kill people faster than the blink of an eye. Anyone he targeted was already dead before they knew it. However, during the course of the war, something happened to forever change Battousai from a fearsome hitokiri into a peaceful Rurouni who refused to kill. After the war ended, Battousai threw down his daisho (katana and wakizashi) and took up the Sakabatou, with its reversed edges so that he could fight without killing. He wandered Japan for ten years, helping people and seeking to atone for all the horrible things he had done as a hitokiri. Finally, after ten years of wandering, he walked into Tokyo on a chilly winter morning and was accosted by a young woman who wielded a wooden sword and accused him of killing people using her sword style's name... |

| If you have food, look out because once Sano's through, there won't be a crumb left. And don't expect him to pay you for it either. Known in Tokyo's underground as Kenkaya Zanza, Sagara Sanosuke not only has a reputation of being a brutal fighter, he's also known by every restaurateur in Tokyo as a mooch, who enters, eats everything in their establishment and then leaves before the bill can even be handed to him. As a child, Sanosuke left his father's farm in the province of Shinshuu and joined the revolutionary army called the Sekihoutai, captained by Sagara Sozo. The Sekihoutai marched out ahead of the Ishin Shishi, promising to cut the farmers' taxes in half in order to gain their support. However, the Meiji government ended up having financial problems and couldn't keep that promise. Thus, they singled the Sekihoutai out as traitors and massacred them. Sanosuke was the sole surviver and was blinded by rage and bitterness, throwing himself into fighting, gambling and drinking to forget. Thus, he took on the nickname Zanza. As a kenkaya (fight merchant), Sano's favorite weapon was the Zanbatou, a huge sword that was used during the Onin struggle to kill mounted warriors. After the Zanbatou was broken in twain by one Himura Kenshin, Sanosuke started relying on his fists. Sanosuke becomes Kenshin's best friend and "right hand man" (Sano's words) in many fights. Sanosuke admires Kenshin because Kenshin carries the true ideals of peace, freedom and equality that the Meiji government was supposed to have been founded upon. Later on, Sanosuke learns an effective double punch technique from a fallen Buddhist monk, called the Futae no Kiwami. With this in his arsenal, Sanosuke can truly rely on his fists in any situation. |

| The last of a long line of doctors, Takani Megumi was orphaned as a child when her family left her behind to help those wounded during the Ishin Shishi's siege of Wakamatsu Castle in Aizu. Years later, as a young woman, Megumi was apprenticed by a doctor who taught her how to make opium, telling her that she was making medicine to help people. After the doctor was killed by a merchant named Takeda Kanryuu, Megumi found out that the medicine she had been making was a highly addictive drug that Kanryuu had been selling on the black market. From that day on, she was imprisoned by Kanryuu and forced to make opium for him. One day, she managed to escape and found a small swordsman with red hair to help her. |
