It's not gory and it hasn't got any death in it, but the reason I rated it was because the first sex scene in this is rape/non-consensual but it's still amazing. |

Yu Yu Hakusho on average only has as much violence as the standard battle shounen, but there are a few instances that cross the line. Those instances involve multiple decapitations, amputations, mass death, cannibalism, torture, implied rape, disintegration, brainwashing, and a few blood baths. Those events are not overly gory and happen rarely so the series can be safely watched by older teens. |

Very little to no true violence. What doees exist wold be very familiar to anyone who has played the Final Fantasy type of gaming world part of this story is based. |

Some of the violence does tred more toward high or extreme, but not in the Elfen Lied way, far more implied and though a bit more graphic, the violence and injuries from ollder cartoons. |
