Yangire is different from yandere, and also lesser known. There are a lot of yangire characters who many people mistake for yandere. They mainly differ in terms of motivation in which yandere characters are driven by their obsessive love towards another character, whereas yangire characters aren't really connected to any sort of romance or love.
