Anyone who's been following the manga will know, Guts and Griffith have a long history.

Griffith originally recruits Guts into his army, the Band of the Hawk. Guts quickly rises in rank, and soon becomes Griffith's right hand man. So , at the end I voted for Hilda. It was a very tough call for me to make and I still can't say this is my permanent pick in the future. But at this moment I think Hilda would be better for Oga since she can stand on equal footing with Oga while Kunieda has more trouble with that. As I said earlier I still think Kunieda is super, so my opinion on who might be better for oga can change depending on what future chapters of the manga bring. (view post)

I'm a bit late to watching this one, since my usual speed watching the first ep to decide what to watch ... doesn't quite work with this series. xD

The first episode shows the cast as kids living in a peaceful town.
The second episode turns that completely upside down.
And the third episode, seems roughly where the anime really begins.

I'll have to catch up some more, but I wonder what everyone thinks of this series so far?
