Well, it happened afterall. I voted for Kirino instead of Kuroneko, I realise people that have only watched season 1 of the anime can never understand that and I won't even bother to try and explain it. All I can say is that volume 12 ( the final volume ) will explain why I feel like I do now.
Don't get me wrong though I still think Kuroneko is very awesome aswell and in season one and the start of season 2 my vote would have instantly gone to her. (view post)

I'm kinda in the same boat there, I enjoy watching/reading fairy tail more lately but because of the way Naruto has grown over the past years and the fact that he sticks with his *ninja way* my vote also went to Naruto. Natsu is a very funny and enjoyable character though so I understand the people voting on Natsu, it's just that the writer of fairy tail kinda fails at character development and just keeps powering everyone up in the middle of a losing battle with the excuse of *nakama power* in my opinion :P (view post)

The problem I have with this however is that some writers just go all overkill on certain characters and what they are capable on. Same with vs battles between any shounen main character vs Goku from dragonball z. Just because goku was already capable of destroying planets with his powerlevel at the namek saga is enough of a reason why other protagonists don't stand a chance.
For that reason I'll wait with the voting on this vs to see if Shu is actually written in a slightly believable way and not just granted Solar System destroying weapons for no reason. Because if he is just given such overkill power just because the writer wanted it to look epic then I rather not vote at all :P (view post)

At this moment I would still vote for Ruri but Kirino has been redeeming herself a lot over the last two light novel volumes ( especially the final one ).

See, Shu's mecha is capable of producing black holes (Shu himself designed the antimatter engine. He's only 22 years old, mind you.). ...After he upgraded it and created Neo-Granzon (his second mecha), it became capable of wiping out the entire solar system with one Degenerative Cannon.

I think Jellal has very powerful, very effective magic. As for Mystogan, other than being able to put a lot of people to sleep ... didn't seem to have any extremely powerful magic. Or have I forgotten some episode where he did? (view post)

On my first playthrough of this game a very long time ago I started off in the Yuela route since I could not resist the choice that decided if you wanted to be more than just friends with her or not. Normally I try to leave the heroine that will probably be my favorite for last so not long after that I restarted the story in Serawi's route and it was the first one I completed.
I then took a long break and lost my safe file with quite a bunch of hours played on it but redownloaded the game anyway, decided to finish Serawi route first again so I would have it behind me ( you actually need 4 playthroughs to have the optimal character/item setup to finish the level 90+ missions fair and squire ) then did the Emelita route two times in a row ( only actually took the time to read the story the first time and the second time was just item farming ) and eventually finally got myself back on the Yuela route that I never finished the first time.

Did a bunch of releveling with my characters after using the fountain of youth in combination with some other items and then decided I played the game a bit too much and needed a break. This is where we are now, I recently redownloaded Kamidori again but I have my save-file with hundreds of hours on it backupped in both my email and on an external hard-disk in case something happens to my pc again.

So ye, even though I typed a story that is way too long and I STILL need to complete Yuela's route it was indeed the route I wen't on first so I voted that lol.
