Jam you little Shnite! I was going to set this match up some time ago... my first match in fact... But even I couldn't make the decision...
On one hand you have Shampoo: cute, exotic, elegant, smexy, soft dainty body(that can't possible kick as much arse as it does), and extra strength CRAZY!! The perfect girlfriend, hot enough to get your attention and committed enough to keep it... indefinitely.
Then there's Ukyo: Tall, sweet, loyal, demure, a little bit country(but not too much), who can kick some major arse, while cooking breakfast! She's kind, generous, gorgeous, soft curves on a rock hard muscle structure, and stable as a table!
So, that being said, I'll take the physical challenge, Mark!
I'll pick Ukyo, and still see Shampoo on the side.... And I will enjoy it... til I get caught, and very, very brutally killed.

I agree with you completely, Aggy! I'm looking at the voting stats and I think I know why Kirito is winning- SAO fanboys/fangirls. I did make a note beforehand for this to be a fair vs but I guess people ignored that note. Sakamoto needs more love, he's such an awesome character. (view post)

Let's not go into the debate again. The original Japanese version used some gender-neutral pronouns if my memory is good. When the manga was translated into English, since there is no gender-neutral pronoun officially, the translators replaced the Japanese pronouns by "him" or "he". So for the moment we still can't know Crona's gender. And it doesn't bother me that much. (view post)

Fuuka is way less annoying if you play with original voicing, not dub, especially since she's voiced by Noto Mamiko. But even there she tends to state too much obvious things. And well... I don't like her short haircut, while I have nothing to complain about with Rise. So yeah, Rise all the way Well... Ideally, I'd want a team of 4 Aigis, supported by fifth Aigis, but well... Ryouta also has my vote in this contest, Btooom is actually one of my favorite anime series and I very much recommend everyone to watch it that hasn't already.
I also hope that SAO fanboys/fangirls are not just instantly voting for Kirito without having seen Btooom first because for the younger age I think SAO is a lot more popular from what I've heard. (view post)

In the animes I must agree with you, but in the Sword Art Online light novels you get to know more of how Kirito feels and he becomes a more detailed character. This side is called ANIME character database though, so Sakamoto gets my vote. (view post)

A lot of people are having this war about if Btooom is better than SAO, or vice-versa, because they both involve a video game and having to survive or get killed. Basically, they have almost the same genre. Honestly, both animes are AWESOME and I have no say in this war. However, I believe Sakamoto is a better protagonist than Kirito, for many reasons. Sakamoto just caught my attention more than Kirito and he was just a very determined, awesome character. I also love his pervy side, kekeke. Both characters are indeed awesome, but I like Sakamoto just a little more.

Just now the final volume of the light novel has finally completely been translated and off-course I've instantly read it and it was awesome.
I seriously doubt the anime can bring out the awesomeness of the final volume with the few remaining episodes it has left because it was simply written in such a good way that I'll be thinking about it for a very long time to come.
18:35 where I live but the FEELS I have after finishing Oreimo are so strong that I can't imagine myself doing anything for now. So I will just go to bed and dream about my favorite characters.
Everyone should totally read the light novel after completing the anime since it goes into details a lot stronger ( for example the feelings of characters during certain events ).

Read that this is the Touhou series. labeling Utsuho as an antogonist of the whole series can cause confusion. even if she's the antagonist of the 11 and 12.3 delivery, its to make sure no one confuses it.
